Dear Heavenly Sounds Family! π
π Halloween Is Almost Here! π»
Halloween is a time for costumes, candy, creative decorations, and making fun memories with family and friends! As we get ready for October 31, we want everyone to enjoy the festivities while keeping safety in mind.
Whether your family plans to go trick-or-treating, attend a fall festival, or enjoy a cozy night at home, here are some ideas to make Halloween fun and safe!π¬
π¦ 5 Halloween Safety Tips
- Be Seen After Dark! π¦
Use flashlights or glow sticks, and add reflective details to costumes so pedestrians are easier for drivers to see.
- Choose Safe Costumes. π»
Make sure costumes fit properly, avoid tripping hazards, and use face paint or makeup that is safe for the skin instead of masks that block vision.
- Stay Together. π
Children should go with a trusted adult or an approved group. Set clear boundaries, stay in familiar areas, and agree on a meeting place.
- Check Treats Before Eating. π¬
Parents and caregivers should inspect candy and packaged treats before children enjoy them. Avoid anything that looks opened, damaged, or suspicious.
- Watch Out for Traffic. πΈ
Use sidewalks and crosswalks, look both ways before crossing, and put phones away while walking near roads.
